Since its establishment, the Advanced Institute of Brain Sciences has established a key skill channel for sharing and opening based on its own advantages and characteristics. It has achieved a number of important original effects in the fields of animal models of multiple species of brain diseases, new strategies for early diagnosis and treatment of brain diseases, and research and development of cutting-edge neural skills. In 2019, the Advanced Institute and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology jointly led the construction of the first municipal basic research institution jointly established by Shenzhen and Hong Kong - the Shenzhen Hong Kong Brain Science Innovation Research Institute, further promoting the deep integration and development of Shenzhen Hong Kong brain science.
 
 
The Bright Brain Science Skills Industrial Innovation Center (hereinafter referred to as the "Brain Innovation Center"), jointly built by the Advanced Academy and the Guangming District Government of the city, was unveiled and established in October 2021. It focuses on the key pain points of industrial transformation in the field of brain science and similar intelligence, and creates the first "brain oriented" professional incubation and empowerment channel and industrial common skills service channel in China. The Brain Innovation Center has invested a total of 110 million yuan and built a professional incubation site, including an industrial park, with an area of over 60000 square meters. In addition, the Brain Innovation Center is preparing a nearly 1 billion yuan brain science industry fund, which is the first in the country. This year's conference also attracted the participation and attention of nearly a hundred domestic and foreign investors, including Sequoia Capital, Fosun Wealth, Huaxing Capital, Angel Mother Fund, GGV Capital, Fishburners, etc.
 
 
Currently, there are over 500 talent programs in the fields of advanced academies and deep science and engineering brain sciences, gathering 11 people including academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Royal Canadian Academy of Sciences, the German Academy of Sciences, and Nobel laureates in physiology or medicine. There are 49 national level experts, and multiple scholars have been selected in the top 2% of global scientists' rankings, with increasing international influence
